I am an officer in a guild and the when i try to invite someone i get a system message saying im not allowed

 

Hello there, and sorry for the inconvenience; here are two ways that worked in similar cases in the past, that you guys can try:

1. Ask the leader to pass the leadership to someone else;
   
2. Get kicked;
   
3. Get reinvited and given leadership back;
   
4. Promote back to officer.

Otherwise, again to the Leader:

1. Demote the one you wanted to promote to Officer, to Initiate;
   
2. Kick him from the guild;
   
3. Invite him back;
   
4. Try again to promote him to Officer.

Hopefully that will help you as well; unfortunately, we haven't found a permanent fix for this issue yet, but we are aware of it happening in some cases.
