did you fight Red before?

you can only fight him once

no matter win or lose, when you have 120 dex from 1-151 and 38 evo counts in general, you can go to trainers valley

I never fought against either of the 2 bosses.

but you can enter Red's map place, you can only go to there after beating Karate and having 3 100lv pokes with you.

i don't know. maybe a staff can check something for you.

Hello, your variables shows that you already beat karate master and red. You got the expert belt item in your bag, it's from karate master.

There are a few other requirements for Trainers Valley, which might then be your issue :Grin: :

Requirements:

• Fight with Red at the top of Mt. Silver (doesn't matter whether you win or lose)
  
• Catch 120 Pokémons native from Kanto (from range #1-#151)
  
• Get 38 evolved data
  
• Be able to take the train

How to access:

 

• Take the train from Saffron City's or Goldenrod City's Station, and select "Trainers Valley" option

 

You can check at Prof.Oak, Pallet Town, how many Kanto Pokémon you caught so far!

Make sure you're looking at the right place, too: it's at Saffron's Railway Station, as shown in the screens in the spoiler balise above, and you only get the option inside, not at the guard in the hall :Smile:
