When metagross is hit with a moonblast the pvp dialogue says "It was completely ineffective" where it should say it is not very effective

Hello there, and thanks for the report!

I assume the Metagross had Clear Body ability, which prevents stat reductions;

Now, Moonblast has a 30% chance to lower the defensive pokémon's SpAtk by one stage.

That's what the ineffective part was about :Angel:

 

It displays the "not very effective" message right after the "ineffective" one, since Metagross indeed resists to Fairy type moves, and you might have missed it.
