Hello, i have 121 Evolution, 1200+ hours playtime, every single Pokèmon in the Kanto and Johto dex caught except legendaries. Seen the dogs, seen everything up to Ho-Oh (excluded). Still the scientist won't give me the GS Ball.

 

Any help?

Have you verified that you've completed all the steps in part 1 up until where you are stuck on?

Yes i did. Actually, the problem was that i needed the Ho-Oh to be seen aswell. It's weird because every guide in this forum says you don't need it and you actually see it later in the quest.

I unlocked it anyway.

As mentioned by Ayukura, it's made clear in the Celebi part of the Legendary Megathread that you need to have all legendaries seen data to get the GS Ball back; thanks to your report though, I noticed that the Johto Dogs part was lacking clarification about this, and edited it accordingly.
