You can check your poke happiness by typing /happy 1-6 in chat. EX: /happy 1 if you want to check how much happiness your pokemon at slot 1 currently have. Hope this helps. There's also one item that influences happiness; the Soothe Bell. As for what it does, it increases the amount of happiness gained.
