Hello,

What you got in your present is a Black medallion, not Membership medallion. Black Medallion increases your chance of encountering a hidden ability Pokemon by 20% for 72 hours.

It does not provide you with access to Membership areas like Sevii Islands or access to Membership only spawns.

You can see it in the upper left corner of your screen; If you had Membership active there would be a small star icon there. You only have a Black Medallion icon, which increases hidden ability chance as i said previously.
