I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I didn't see it in the suggestions FAQ. I would like to see membership be an account-wide thing across servers, so that when my particular server is down, I can go on another server for some temporary play that doesn't feel totally useless.

Red server being down as long as it was has essentially never happened before. Though unfortunate, it isn't something that happens regularly. MS doesn't need to be cross server because unless you have multiple accounts that have legitimate progress on them, having MS won't make too much of a difference IMO.
