PRO64 disappears from desktop

Featured Replies

So I've had many issues with this game already, one being that textures would go missing in the game. THis was resolved though, after extracting all the three files together into my desktop.

But today another issue surfaced, where my PRO64.exe would disappear from the desktop, but the PRO64data and unityplayer.dll is still there. My first approach was to try to find PRO64 by searching on my PC, it was nowhere to be found. Gone from my PC. So I tried to download it again and extract all the files over again, but this resulted in Windows asking for my permission to extract it, even though I already am administrator.

Anybody knows what's going on?

I can't really help but I can confirm this happens to a friend of mine and he's only able to play on mobile because of it.

Hey maybe your anti virus quarantine it

From the day you were born, and took your first breath... I've been beside you. Be not afraid, fear not the name of the reaper.

Hello,

I am glad to hear you fixed your missing textures!

What i would suggest when extracting is to extract everything into a new empty folder instead of extracting it directly to your desktop.

As for your .exe file disappearing, that is most likely due to your antivirus thinking it is malicious software- fear not, that is not the case!

Try adding the .exe file under exceptions in your antivirus or turn off the antivirus while playing, that should fix your issue. You can also add PRO to exceptions in your firewall. Please let me know if it works,

Thank you both for your assistance! It has been working ever since, no texture issues or the files being extracted over and over again onto my desktop. I have also allowed PRO64 through the firewall and while doing that realized that it didn't recognize PRO64 as a proper program. The thought had never crossed my mind cause I had never been needed to do this, but now I know it's essential sometimes.

Thank you!

I'm glad it worked out for you

Have a nice day and Happy New Year!
