Calvinbaron
[glow=red]Public reports[/glow] Currently, from what I can see. The report system gives high advantage to the reporter as it prevents the reported from defending themselves, and I'm highly sure that in some cases, the reported people were actually victims especially when it comes to trading, as there are many ways this can be abused. I highly suggest making reports public as it really gives reported people a chance to defend themselves. Calahan
[glow=red]Public reports[/glow] Currently, from what I can see. The Report Center is a private area in order to avoid repercussions with no grounds such as harrassment, upon the reporter(s) and/or reported. I can assure you that we don't take actions upon any user without solid evidence(s), regardless of the kind of action perpetrated. You can find the type of evidence needed for each infraction in the How to report Guideline, following this link. If one feels like appealing for his/her sanction nonetheless, and wants to defend oneself, the Discipline Appeal subforum is the place to go :Shy: If the people reported are only victims, they wouldn't be punished; though, it is possible that the reporter hide things by not screenshotting what would compromise him-/herself: it then befalls under the reported to also report what the reporter did wrong, so he/she gets punished accordingly as well. On a side note: if one is tempted to report someone with fake evidence, the reporter is facing huge punishment, according to our Punishment Policy. If one gets punished, one did something wrong; being provoked to do it or not does not change that. For these reasons, this suggestion is denied and non-negotiable, in order to respect everyone's privacy; Thank you again, and with this being said, I wish you a good day! - [glow=lightgreen]Locked[/glow] - Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/80940-forum-suggestion-public-reports/#findComment-472772 Share on other sites
