I want to return to kanto as I want to the do the Christmas quest and some training as their are not good training spots in hoenn . I have not beaten the elite four yet , can i go back ?

I want to return to kanto as I want to the do the Christmas quest and some training as their are not good training spots in hoenn . I have not beaten the elite four yet , can i go back ?

No, you will need to beat Hoenn's Elite Four before being able to take the boat from Lilycove to leave the region.

It wasn't the case in Johto, as the Elite Four is at the same location than Kanto's, but you will also need to be Sinnoh's champion to leave that region when you will get there :Shy:

 

Hoenn's Elite Four is north of Ever Grande City, in case you need that information :Sing:
