Do you run the game in admin mode and/or compatibility mode for windows7?

 

Furthermore, can your PC be overheating? Or at least the video graphics card?

Try to:

• Play in windowed mode,
  
• Try, see if there's a difference, if you activate the VSync,
  
• Make sure your game is running at average or high priority (CTRL+Shift+Escape to open the Task Manager, right click on PRO.exe task, and "Set priority"),
  
• Update your graphics card's drivers,
  
• Reinstall Direct X,

The game is running smooth for me, and barely uses 200Mo of RAM :D:
