Firstly, will there ever be a possibility of a Pokemon that is for free that is not in the coin shop? I'd so love one of those Pokemon mounts that are in it, but as of right now, I can't pay money for anything in this game. Or how much do the tradable mounts usually cost in-game?

 

Also how can I make money fast other than fighting wild pokemon? I'd like to get my bike, but it seems overly expensive. Having to get 75k to get the voucher. I only have around 46k and I'm going to need money if I'm going to be able to get potions or pokeballs.

 

The point that I am in-game, am I capable of going to the special Christmas maps? I'm currently going through Rock Tunnel with my team around 32-37.

 

Also when is the earliest I can get a Leaf Stone? I'd like to evolve my Gloom soon.

1. Purpose of Coin Shop is to buy using Coins, I do not believe they will ever give out anything free from the Coin shop. Mounts ranging 75k - 100k (not shiny mounts)

Also you can get a free arcanine mount @ fuschia city by doing a quest of getting a kangaskhan dratini and chansey on safari.

 

2. Get a descent pokemon to sell. Still, fight trainers and wild pokemons for money is best while finding a descent pokemon to sell.

 

3. Not sure about xmas map but you can try.

 

4. Leaf stone 10k from other players or Celadon Department Store.

For xmas map, you can go there from route 1 if you have at least 4 gym badges :)

Your pokemon levels should be fine as for now you can only find 20-ish pokemons in the xmas map (both wild and trainer).

Thank you for the answers. :) I didn't know I could get a free Arcanine mount. I'll be sure to try getting it when I can. All the non-shiny mounts are tradable? Because only Arcanine and Lapras say tradable by their name.

 

Ok cool! I've got 3 badges now, so just need to get 1 more badge then I'll try going there.

 

Will get to Celadon first to see how much the stone is there first before considering other players. And somehow find a good pokemon to sell since I'm not sure what kind of pokemon that could sell well.
