Hello there, and foremost, sorry for the inconvenience;

Please try the following:

1. Pass the leadership to someone else
   
2. Get kicked from the guild
   
3. Get reinvited and given leadership back
   
4. Promote back to officer

---

If this doesn't work, the one below might (but is mostly when you can't promote to Officer):

1. Demote the one you wanted to promote to Officer, to Initiate
   
2. Kick him from the guild
   
3. Invite him back
   
4. Try again to promote him to Officer

---

You might need to do it a couple times before it works, too.

No, chat's colours are client-sided, chosen by the user and only oneself will see the chat in this colour; one cannot bound a colour per user and make it universal :Grin:
