It really isn't that hard to go into a pokemon center for a ranked PVP Match. You can do regular pvp outside of a pokemon center, but if you are going to do ranked it is in the pokemon center.

And a GUI that let's you write down what-to-do lists and a questlog...

Although this would be nice, it would be just as easy to open up notepad on your computer and write down what you need to do there.
