Is it good to evolve my pokemon asap or wait til higher level? I have been told to level my Squirtle to lvl 98 then evolve it because it takes less EXP, but then I loose stats. Imogen Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 No stats will be lost if you plan on evolving it to Blastiose at Level 100. Fresharn Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 By not evolving it will be easier to level it up, by evolving it will get higher stats, but they won't lose any stats if you wait with evoling just simply not gain them until you do. I don't wait with evolution unless I want that pokemon for pvp as you need it on lvl 100 for that, and it take ages leveling them too 100 if you do evolve them.
