Hello, I have recently joined this game and have a question about Evolution. Is it good to evolve my pokemon asap or wait til higher level? I have been told to level my Squirtle to lvl 98 then evolve it because it takes less EXP, but then I loose stats. Or should I just evolve it at level 16?

No stats will be lost if you plan on evolving it to Blastiose at Level 100. The unevolved form can also learn moves that the evolved versions cant and they will learn them faster. :) Welcome to to PRO! :)

So would it be wiser to evolve my pokemon or get them to a very high level THEN evolve them?

By not evolving it will be easier to level it up, by evolving it will get higher stats, but they won't lose any stats if you wait with evoling just simply not gain them until you do. I don't wait with evolution unless I want that pokemon for pvp as you need it on lvl 100 for that, and it take ages leveling them too 100 if you do evolve them.
