So its not just me? i got glitched talking to an NPC and now i cant load the server

Hi there,

 

As you know, we do routine maintenance to ensure the health of our servers and to take backups, which helps protect our users' data. This can put the server under heavier load than usual, resulting in lag. While it can be frustrating to deal with at times, this is necessary to ensure the greater good for the game's health from a functional and social perspective. The most recent maintenance only lasted about 30-45 minutes.

 

I'd like to take this opportunity to let you know of our recent server statistics:

A few past maintenance sessions has greatly reduced the amount of server crashes we had in the past. Each server would crash 2-3 times a day in the past.

 

As the Yellow server didn't crash for 54 hours and the Red server didn't crash for 44 hours, we can conclude that the maintenance indeed helped reducing the amount of crashes.

As announced in the Discord;

The changes MIGHT do following things:

- Servers might be more stable now

- Rollbacks might be reduced now

- Ghost queue might be faster now

 

However, it is not guaranteed.

Please keep in mind that all maintenance sessions are done to improve your gameplay experience. If we could, we'd love for the server to never crash or lag, but this cannot always be the case due to technical limitations. We are doing our best to optimize our server stability; please stay patient with us in the meantime!
