Breeding mechanic idea

Just a quick suggestion for the game,

I'm so tired hunting for hours and days with my desired iv, nature and ability for a single pokemon and i'm sure im not the only one. Most of the hunts will end up;

Ability, IVs OK | Nature Not OK

Nature,IVs OK | Ability Not OK

So that long hours of hunt will end up on trash. When i think if only breeding is a thing in game, those atleast will still be useful in some ways.

Inb4 that will ruin the games economy comments, relax theres a way to prevent that from happening.

My idea is whenever we breed pokemon, after getting an offspring, the parents should be gone as soon as you get an egg off them.

Sounds risky right? Well its your choice if you wanna do it anyway. ;)

With this method, it wouldn't stop people from hunting.

I hope you'll reconsider adding this in the future

I'm glad with the current system. We knew what we were signing up for.

I really don't want to see any kind of breeding in this game. Plus, how exactly it is risky ?

There's item to prevent your offspring from having a wrong abi, ivs or nature. It'll just get thing easier because you could turn a sync fail into a godly pokemon.

Now admetting these said items aren't coded.. Then what's the point in breeding ? Farming up with a sync would get you higher chance of getting the desired pokemon.

Ofcourse there would be an item to help you guarantee the nature while breeding like in original games but that doesn't guarantee the offspring to inherit its parents ivs/abilities, even destiny knot doesn't guarantee that. It will still base on your chances

With that, lets say you have hunted this male starly it came up good with nature and ivs (25/28/31/x/25/31) but you failed it at having the reckless ability. To fix things up you have to breed it with a female reckless starly with poor ivs (12/10/9/x/11/19), the chances are you get the starly with HA like you wanted it but at the same time you could fucked up its ivs.

Ofcourse like in original games if you want to increase your chances getting better ivs, both parents must have good ivs, meaning you have to sacrifice not only 1 but 2 pokemon.

The point is its not always guarantee that you can get a godly epic offspring from the parents. It will still base on chances

Did you ever breed in original games ? It doesn't look like.

Everyone, and I say everyone will end up with 6x31 pokemon, right natured and ability. Because breeding is way too easy. It just take time and yet when I say time it can be done within an hour.

It would retire all this game has to offer and make it another "fan made pokemon". It's not interesting, many of us (including me) would just leave the game if breeding ever gets implemented.

Yes i do, i have 2 full box of self breed shiny.

Anyway, i think you're the one who dont actually breed here in og games or you use a hacked parent or something lol. i always breed and train my own pokemon because i do vgc all the time, i can say for myself that breeding is not easy unless you use a hacked 6iv ditto as one of the parent (which i assume you do), i'm a legit player so i use the 4iv dittos i got from sos chaining. Even with 4iv guarantee iv from both parents plus destiny knot, it took me 2-3 full box of eggs to get my desired iv and ability.

Also even if with a 6iv ditto parent that'll still take you 20-30eggs to get a 6iv offspring.

Its not like when you breed two pokemon with perfect attack stats, offspring would come up with perfect attack stat as well

it's intended to not have that

Yeah i know, i read the "read before suggesting" thread thing

And their reason for that is people will stop hunting, no more trading and stuffs. I got them the simple solution for them to reconsider bringing them back to the game

Actually, you bring nothing. The question has already been discussed again and again. Your "suggestion" has already been made, again and again, after all it's not your idea and we all know where does it come from.

I never used any kind of hacks in originals games, and I won't ever do it. I've bred all my things alone, and yeah, I found it damn easy. Way easier than farming for a desired pokemon.

Yeah right as if i am allowed to open a discussion about what other mmo is doing right?

Yeah sounds like you never use hack, im now curious how you breed a 6iv in an hour then? I cant even breed a 5iv in my full day of playing in 3ds, some of them i ended up hyper training instead lmao
