Currently at 4 badges, I'm not an advanced player by any means, only recently learned about IVs and EVs and stuff like that, efficiency. Though I've been a pokemon fan for a long time and I usually play at my own pace, just catching any pokemon (that I don't already have) I encounter. I've never gotten to endgame in any pokemon or mmorpg game but I'd like to reach it here and I think it'd be a lot more fun and enjoyable with a nice guild/some friends.
