I was in a random encounter at 'Safari Effort Wald 1' and my greninja got put to sleep by the wild Jumpluff... upon this happening, I attempted to get a lum berry from my inventory when my bag froze up..... after a few seconds of buffer/lag, it said that I used a 'Master Ball' . As soon as I saw this message, I immediately logged out and to my dismay, the jumpluff was already caught and my master ball used.... I was not sure if there is anyway I could get my masterball back since it was not a misclick, but it was a glitch that caused my masterball to be used. If there are any other screenshots that may help, just let me know what I could do.
