This is a bug that happened due to the merge, where some Pokemon in your party was completely random. If you would like the Kanto Pokemon to be moved back to your PC, please let me know as you're unable to deposit them until you defeat the 8th gym. I will need to meet you in-game to solve your issue, so you can respond back with your timezone and availability, or contact me on Discord: Astraea#0082.
