Not sure if this has already been expressed, but I was ev training speed and I would run into raticate. I would swap my pokemon out since I was ev training lower lvl pokemon such as magikarp. The raticate would use pursuit, but the damage would be inflicted onto the pokemon I brought out instead of the magikarp.

there is no information that pursuit was coded since December 2017.

According to a staff member it was not coded in September 2017 as well.

 

So we can assume that it will not work for the moment.
