Black Screen when I click on the game

What have you done before the problem was there?

I have just loaded the game for my first time, After a short period of time the screen goes black, at the top left corner after the screen goes black there is some writing that said turn on F11 or page up and goes away right after. I am running the sapphire radeon 7950, amd fx 6300 6 core, 16gb ram... this pc can handle most modern games so I am not sure what settings I should mess with.

 

What have you already tried to solve the problem?

I have tried redownloading both the 32 and 64 bit versions of the game, I have also messed with some of the graphics options. If I click off the game I can see everything normaly, But when I click back to the game it goes dark
