Unfortunately, we cannot transfer your mount from SIlver to Gold. Furthmore, players on both Red and Blue got placed into Silver, they did not have a choice of going to Gold, and Yellow was simply renamed to Gold. If you like, you can tell your friend to make a post in the General Complaint Area and I can try to help him recover his account.

 

The best I can do for you is to let you know that you can obtain a free Arcanine Mount by doing the Arcanine Quest, and furthermore, certain bosses will give mounts as rewards for defeating them. Here is a list of bosses that drop mounts upon defeat:

• Boss Lorelei: Lapras Mount
  
• Boss Misty: Wailmer Mount
  
• Boss Lt. Surge: Manectric Mount
