Good day! i am not sure if it is a bug or what, but upon trying to battle this boss named Arkos it only says i can't win with my weak pokemons but we have not battled yet and the cooldown was reset to 5 days again. Any response to this post is highly appreciated, thank you.

If it says you cannot battle because you are weak, it is because you do not meet a requirement to fight him.

i have battled him before, the only difference is that i replaced one poke from my previous team, could it be possible that the said poke is not allowed to be in my team to be able to challenge him?

I don’t remember off the top of my head, but bosses usually give more specific dialogue when it’s a Pokémon that can’t be used, for example:

 

“Woah, get that “x” away from me!”
