in addition to lafleurs response, sometimes the queue system (which usually should popup upon "logging in fading" when the server is full) doesnt show. However that doesn't mean that nothing is happening, its likely the bandwidth issues are playing up. Just check back on your client from time to time to see if you logged in.

The game is indeed very challengable in the beginning for the newcomers, however just putting a bit more effort than being easy makes the game more fun & long lasting imo. First I was fustrated about it how hard it is, but gradually i quite enjoyed training my pokemon.

Game will not get taken down so as long as PRO is never a finished product i.e always remains in beta. Nevertheless, Nintendo now allows people to use their IP for fan projects.
