Before I start this off~ 1) I'm sorry if this is not the correct section to post this. That is my mistake if it is not. 2) I do not want recommendations as to the best course of action, I just want the facts. So due to nostalgia reasons I really want to get a Mudkip asap, I am currently still in Kanto and have been looking into trying to get this mudkip through trading means. There are some questions im still iffy about tho; 1) Since mudkip is from a different area/generation would I need badges for his accorded area? would I be able to obtain AND use him with the 4 kanto badges? 2) What will happen when I move on to johto? Will I need to earn badges there before I can use him? Will he become unusable for any reason? 3) When I go to Hoenn for the first time would I get the chance to obtain mudkip then? as a starter? Sorry if some of these questions might seem dumb just want to make sure I have most of the unsure areas covered.
