  1. Cool idea, I had the same question than Jolly. Battling an NPC wouldnt be very interesting, I have to say. We already have the bosses for that, don't we?
  2. i think its bannable, if you can provide proof of him being a repeat offender. No, it is not. Or give a proof it is (admin quote and written in an official post like the one with the Moves). And it's not because it is impossible to prove that the dc was on purpose.
  3. Not bannable.
  4. Could you please explain "UI" ? No idea what this is :Ambivalent:
  5. Support! :y:
  6. "+1" actually means "+1 stage" (+50%).
  7. No need to attack me personally, I did not do that when I replied to you. The argument of a reward is needed is invalid, yet I agreed on it since it makes the stuff more attractive - but it's absolutely not a must, like you seemed to pretend in one of your previous message. Won't argue longer on the rest, like others has told, we do not know what will happen. However, a percentage would be great.
  8. I remember the 1st time i start PvP on last march, my score was like 30 - 70 (win - lose). I lose a lot & i might win just by luck at that time, since i have no slight idea about pokemon battle (this is my 1st pokemon game). With the coins system at least that kind of struggle wont going to waste since you still get an amount of coins and give you purpose on pvp even though you got [Censored] team. Giving up is their mental issue, you can't really do anything about that and it have no relevance with coin system because with or without it people with that kind of mentality will giving up eventually. So yea the coin reward at least encourage most people to keep doing PvP. If everyone win the same rewards in the end, the Competition LOSE ITS VERY PRINCIPLE :D: Of course, we all agree on this. Their must be a reward for the "best", to make PVP even more attractive, even if - let's be honest -, without reward people would still play it, at least for the sake of being top ladder. Your argument is fully invalid. And what makes me tick, is that the "best" receive 700 coins. 700. It's insane. Did you see the price of the PVP-coin stuff ?! 300k for a toxic orb (50 coins) -> this makes out of a PVP winner a 4 million $ reward *. If you were in front of me, I would ask you : Look me in the eyes and tell me this is fair. 700 coins is obvious overly abusive. Admit it. I am not able to reach top ladder (I am trying hard), but with such a bait, maybe i'll consider playing like an A** only to grab those 4 millions. Do you see the problem ? Rewarding is great. Rewarding too much breaks the funny point of a game, since people will not come here for the beauty of the game, but only to get this reward. The previous system was much better (a cloak, showing that you earn your prestige! We should get rid of the new one. ASAP! * even if price will very likely decrease by half in the next weeks, you can consider the reward being a minimum 1,5 million gain.
  9. Use Machamp.
  10. What the hell are you saying ?! If I feel I lost and I don't want to waste my time, I surrender. Surrending = losing. Losing = the opponent wins, and thus he can be rewarded for that. However, I agree with what you said after that, this coin system is extremly unfair. Actually, only good players will get, in the end, the reward. Even if Futz is claiming that this system is made to encourage people to play PVP, this argument just makes me laugh. Do you remember guys when you started PVP ? I started in PRO (never played elsewhere) and I barely won 10 matches in a season and had several time the pleasure to lose 5 times or more in a row. Some people will try hard, others will give up quickly. This system is very clearly only one-way. And the biggest injustice is that top-ladder will receive an ENORMOUS amount of coins IN ADDITION to all the ones they won by climbing it up. To summarize, the coin system sucks.
  11. I think we agree in the end. Admins just should add a surrender button (which I would use if I feel I cannot deal with the stalling - I don't always have the proper team to counter it.). Yet, disconnecting on an endless battle, I would be curious to know how (and especially why) the admins could inflict some kind of punishment lol. This remains a game, we all need to have fun with it. Surely it's not fun not to receive your coin, but come on, it's not like you are not receiving your ladderpoints. I would like to add that I am not defending people who are constantly dc. That's really not nice. I was only giving my point of view on a specific situation.

    Dc.

Life is hard :Ambivalent: 51 wins, 40 coins Keep winning, you'll make it. However, if you are a staller, do not wonder that people may log out more often vs you.
  13. Kagawa(staff) said: Since u arent d/c-ing on purpose i wouldnt be to worried about it even if it gets reported. I would report u too since i dont know if it was on purpose or not. So if it happens a lot that a person is disconnecting on purpose, staff will notice that and punish this behaviour. Haha, how could this be reportable? If I want to leave the game, I can. I won't force my self to finish an endless battle (my main cause of logging out during a battle - because YES i am doing it.). (And I enjoy it, when the first 10 minutes where only about switching in/out slowbro, sableye, skarmo, donphan and so on.). No point wasting my time and, if I may say so, not worth giving a coin. How can you blame a player for it? This is totally stupid -> blame the admins, if they can't code this properly and did not think of testing all the issues before releasing this feature.
  14. Welcome ! Do not evolve your pokemons too soon, or you will need far more XP to level them up. ;)
  15. PVP knowledge first. If some people are playing commonly Natural Cure Pokemons on another way, too bad. If your Blissey/Roserade/Starmie is asleep, your opponent can freely use Spore/Sleep Powder/Yawn on any other of your pokemons. HOWEVER -> You can try to fix this by contacting your opponent, telling him that your pokemon does not have Natural Cure, and that now that he knows it, he will have to respect the sleep clause. On the other hand, if you are "the opponent", feel free to take a screenshot of the conversation, and report the guy if he lies to you (+eventually expose his name here, so that we know who we can't trust).
