Problem solved, a GM fixed the issue.

Nope I have not tried that yet however server is down right now

Just went inside the viridian gym to face giovanni and I'm completely stuck at the entrance and can't move. Tried restarted the client many times and I have no escape rods. Trying to call for a GM/Admin in the game chat but no response.
