I'd pick pikachu just because you get a lot of exclusive extras even late game. Yes you can catch another pikachu and use a different starter, but when the ash cap comes a long, you won't be able to get it without starting as pikachu.

Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to get back the bagon you had from the role-back. They are unable to reset the bosses cooldown's. So be careful when fighting bosses during times when the server is unstable and make sure to log of often so that it creates a save point.

The main reason, like the other pokemon fan-made games, is that if it becomes something they get a paycheck out of, they have to go through copyright infringement from gamefreak and nintendo and therefore this game would simply disappear along with your donation.

I understand your new to the game but you got to realise this game isn't they're job and it isn't exactly their business. All of them are volunteers trying to run the game and the donation is used to continue its running. The problem is only a select few can turn the server back on and if they are say, doing shopping, taking kids to school, doing their actual job they cannot do that. I understand your frustration though. I will let you know that the servers do go down a more than a few times on a daily basis without an eta to when it comes back on. They don't like people asking when the server is coming back on because it annoys them to keep seeing it in chat repeating the same answer over and over to each individual that asks. But please be patient keep checking on the status and enjoy other things whilst you wait. I hope that answers your questions

No these crashes are not scheduled and until one of the admins comes on, it doesn't come online.

my favourite pokemon is simply gengar, in terms of pvp, he is insane at doing everything just wish the mega was around. And that smile is just so freakishly large it suits my personality :devil:

I had a look at that, the moves I can see which are bugged or not, but the abilities don't seem so clear. but thanks again, it gives me some more to think about.

what do you mean by missing the opportunity? I did not realise this was previously a feature. Personally I don't like this idea mainly because people are just going to turn of the feature. Just wait till you get yourself a level 100 team and go do ranked pvp :P.

Last time i checked analytic doesnt work that way in pro even though it should. IT doesnt boost the damage after switches, sadly :( And pretty sure reflect type doesnt work either. Ah ok, because I was checking the list and I didn't see that it didn't work. I was reading it through smogon, the set details on offensive starmie suggests that it can be used like that to OHKO quite a handful of pokemon because if you force your opponent to switch to something like clefable with hydro pump and rotom (when he comes into pvp) with psychic, for them to switch they have priority and therefore starmie moves last in this case and therefore gets the analytic boost. Could you show me where I can find what abilities work in PRO?

Just thought to add my 2 cents. I think people cast down and seriously underestimate offensive analytic (which works btw) starmie. Yes it is fast but the reason why it works is because you can force quite a few switch ins and therefore allows you to attack second. Based on the theory craft on showdown you to deal a surprising amount of damage, for instance hydropump would have 110 base power+ stab +30 % damage with analytic boost giving 215 power (provided it hits) and psyshock to deal with spdef walls does 156 damage with stab and 30% boost from analytic. Then you have a choice of going all out offensive throwing in ice beam and thunderbolt or having rapid spin utility/ recover for longevity. Also I found that the spd/hp starmie set with natural cure is also viable and therefore can play as a utility starmie. The only thing I do not know about with utility starmie is if reflect type works yet and is available, because that makes it even more reliable as a rapid spinner too.

When I was little I really badly wanted pokemon yellow on my gameboy colour and my Mum bought me the gameboy with everything I wanted except, the bundle she bought wasn't pokemon yellow, but pokemon pinball which got me crying for so long (was about 6-7 at the time I think). So pokemon didn't come to a good start until I bought a pirated copy of the pokemon gold game when it came out abroad. I loved it the fact that a red gyarados was catchable then too. My favourite moment of that game was when I miraculously found a shiny graveler for the first time and it would have been my second shiny of the game until that it would rather faint than be caught by me (explosion rip) so yeah. 10/10 would watch a shiny graveler explode in my face again!

When you say early stages are you refering to pve?

You have a guild chat, you can invite your friends to it and talk collectively. you get to create your own icon above your head which is pretty cool. There is a plan to have your own exclusive territory but that has not been implemented as of yet.
