Thanks everyone glad to see the staff is so friendly.

So I'm new to the game and already caught 2 shiny pokemon. I know in the real games a shiny is about 1/8k. I was wondering if it's boosted on these servers, or if I just used all the rng I'll ever have in life getting these an hour apart.

Hey everyone! I started playing pokemon when gen 1 released and lost interest in it shortly after beating the gen 3 game. However, every 2-3 years I go back and replay 1 or 2 of the old games. I was starting to get an urge to replay gen 1 when I came across this and figured I would give it a shot. I'm really enjoying it so far and plan to stick with it for a little while so I decided to hop on the forums and say hi to everyone.
