You can still buy one to someone who can :) As the Pikachu needs to have our OT in order to teach it Surf and that it has a couple of weeks of cooldown, that will most likely cost you a fair bit, but it's not impossible! So many people skip the dialogues, I've met a ton of people who were like "Wait, we could have Pikachu as a starter? You mean Viridian Forest, right?" [float=left]EDIT: Just in case: I know that skipping dialogues is not the only reason why some people didn't choose Pikachu. :p[/float] Speaking of which, as Pikachu is the first starter that anybody can catch, I feel like it's justice that we have few "bonus" (free Ash's hat and Surf teaching), others could have Bulbasaur/Squirtle/Charmander + Pikachu even before the first badge x) Also, it was not an easy pick in my opinion, as Pikachu can at most evolve once (and not super early) and really wasn't favored against Brock U are right about the fact that it is the first starter u can catch. BUT a cape, surf and ash hat... that is a little to much... it is unfair compared to the other starters, I mean what do they get? There are also people who want to be the original trainer of their pikachu (like me). It would just be cool if we could get surf too ,but it would be harder to get. I am here to ask the staff for something.The reason I post this is because I am a bit sad... :Frown: I recently found that pikachu can learn surf( a bummer for a guy who didn't have it as a starter). I met a lot of guys who have the same problem. That's why I would like to ask you (the staff) to maybe help us get another chance to get a pikachu of ours to learn surf(trough a boss or maybe an event) anything will satisfy me. So I hope this post will get enough attention to actually make it happen. :Grin: Thank u for reading this :thanks: (Sorry if I wrote mistakes. English isn't my main language)
