    So I'm a semi-noob here. Just got all 8 badges and went to the entrance to victory road and saw that I had to battle Red, and I got absolutely smashed by him. Took out his Mega Charizard and then my Gengar and his Snorlax had an endless fight until I ran out pp and got defeated. So I'm simply asking if we're supposed to get smashed by him or if I'm simply not good enough yet. I remember some similar instances like after beating the Celadon gym Red blocking my way out so I had to battle him, and that one time during the Vermillion flashback where you had to battle Lance. (I lost both times too lol) I still will be training before actually going to the E4 but nice to know if they're supposed to be almost dominating you. I'm probably just a noob tho.
