While I won't really complain about that, I was just gonna let you know that my level 18 Budew evolved to Roselia after a battle which I suppose brought it up to It's requided happiness for evolving, but didn't bring it's experience up to the point of evolving. It was still level 18 after evolving, although the gained experience decreased as it would if it had leveled up. This happened during daytime.
