Yea I figured that out soon enough lol. And sorry for posting this in the wrong subforum. Used charmeleon and butterfree at first (not the but types to use ,I know). But I just feel like the levels in route 2 are too are to low. Because trying to get you're pokemon above level 15 is a bit hard when you are fighting level 3 pokemon half the time.

Hello! While playing the game I found it to be much more difficult than the original games, and find it a lot harder to level up. I know its suppose to be different for the most part but wild pokemon's levels are all over the place, and its hard to level up. For example, trying to grind to defeat Broke is a huge challenge at the start of the game because you still are fighting level 3's to try and to get to a high enough level to defeat him, and is a lot harder. Im not asking to make it super easy because I enjoy the challenge but maybe making the levels higher in the grass would help a lot. Thanks!
