Unfortunately there is no way to obtain mew once you have killed it. I really hope that this changes in the future, especially considering that mew is a top tier pvp pokemon, and one misclick or ill timed server crash can cause you to lose permanent access to it. The devs have been very clear however that the current method of obtaining legendaries will remain as is for quite some time. Sorry. :[

I recommend you complete the story before building pvp teams. You'll need pokemon to sync the correct natures and likely a large amount of money for pokeballs, not to mention the ability to ev train in places you won't have access to. +1 to this, although if the devs are really against the idea, making legends re-catchable is still much better than nothing. You are actually worse off. Just because it isn't game breaking doesn't mean you aren't at a disadvantage. Every other pokemon in the game has a method of re-catching except these. Also celebi is very strong in pvp. It functions as a baton passer or bulky support pokemon with utility moves such as stealth rocks, heal bell, thunder wave, etc. As you said, the best idea draw from your point is ban legend from pvp, so you will not say "Putting unlucky players at a permanent disadvantage in pvp is a bad idea" Everyone then will fair then. And bear in mind that pvp not belong to only 1 pokemon also, it is the strategy and also how to deal with team :/ Legendaries add more options for team building and fill some unique roles in the metagame. I would rather have them than not have them, especially when the current problem with legendaries in pvp is easily fixable.

I can't agree with this thread more. Putting unlucky players at a permanent disadvantage in pvp is a bad idea. This is especially true in cases where there is a server crash or a personal disconnect from the player. A system can easily be implemented where a player can release their legendary and re-catch it after a 2 week cooldown for example. You are actually worse off. They will evolve upon reaching lvl 100. You might want to consider evolving at 99 anyway though, just so something doesn't go wrong.

It's not a bad team, but you might want to make a few adjustments. First of all you have a total of 0 azumarill switch ins, which can obviously cause some problems. You have no defogger/rapid spinner to remove hazards, which further limits your ability to switch into moves. Outside of potentially clefable, you have no hazards of your own. Talonflame sets up on several of your mons and does major damage late game. There are plenty of good options to remedy some of these issues including ferrothorn, tentacruel, tyranitar, venusaur, and others. I think you might have better luck if you aren't as rigid in your thinking (meaning that you don't necessarily have to have a pokemon to fit every role), and instead focus on building a team with checks and counters to big threats, as well as clear win conditions vs different styles of play. That being said, I'm still getting used to the PRO metagame so I could be missing something that you caught.

Is it the same for every season?
