  1. Parasect... 100% Incredibly easy to find, compared to the other "Pokemon to catch other pokemon" that are out there. AND it doubles as an HM mule. Nature: Adamant EVs: Atk: 252 Def: 0 Speed: 252 SpAtk: 0 SpDef: 0 HP: 6 Moveset: Cut Dig Spore False Swipe
  2. I think this would be absolutely awesome! However, I have a few thoughts on it. 1) Instancing is hard and very expensive (server wise). If there are 1500 groups in this instance, then they have to create 1500 of these instances on the server. 2) It would be super easy to do if it was just another map where you could run it solo, but you could see all the other players as you usually do. 3) Developing a system like this could broaden into much more content, such as a dungeon with rare pokemon that spawn at a higher level, or have a naturally lower catch rate to make it a challenge. Catching a level 90 dratini with ultra balls would be pretty difficult. 4) If it was just another E4 ladder that you could climb, theorhetically endlessly, but it got progressively harder each and every floor it would give non-pvpers the incentive to build a strong team and compete. (perhaps even make this ladder ranked?) 5) Again, I think it's brilliant, but it would be very very very complicated to make it group based. Keep it focused on single player and this is something that could easily be implemented.
  3. While I like the idea, many game companies solve this problem by forcing players to go to a location for something... Be it an auction house or a certain vendor... If PRO was to force us to "hang out" in these locations, the rest of the world would be diminished. It is pretty obvious to me, in my few weeks of playing this game, that viridian city is a staple for meetups. However, if I happen to be in Johto when someone wants to trade with me, it becomes either an expensive or complicated journey to get to where they are (likely somewhere near viridian). The problem here is that the majority of people that you might possibly end up trading with are stuck on Kanto because they either havn't beat the E4 or don't want to run back from Johto. Making a single area easily accessible from any region, but not allow it to be used as a quick taxi ride from place to place would be very difficult to develop, but could prove useful in creating an area where people can socialize.
  4. Just as a heads up for future reference... In my experiences, Windows 10 has some interesting things that shuts the game down sometimes. My computer is running Windows 10, but I have an old laptop that is running Windows 7. I used that laptop for anything important such as the elite four, and I will use it for other interactions such as my battle with mew. This will probably be fixed in the near future, but just keep it in mind.
  5. There are places that house level 50+ pokemon that you can get $500 per pokemon you encounter. (This number is including the membership bonus) I grind out levels and end up getting more than enough for the 3 rare candies I need to get from 97-100
  6. its use is almost negligible in competitive play. It's just a useless berry.
  7. So keep in mind. You are connecting 1800+ people to a single destination... The amount of bandwidth their server is going through is a really high amount (Big games like world of warcraft average only about 5k on their servers). Paying for bigger servers gets expensive, so until every person playing this game has membership, it wouldn't be reasonable for the developers to drop more on bigger servers. Once they grow bigger and make more money, they will likely upgrade the servers and perhaps add a yellow or a green server.
  8. This would take time developing the system/art for it. Why do this when they could be working on something that would help EVERYONE rather than a select few?
  9. Investing data, time, and effort into implementing something that is strictly client sided would be kind of pointless. I have a feeling that some day down the road if PRO becomes really big with the competitive community then they would likely invest the time in it. Until then, just be happy that you can play pokemon real time with other people!

    Bank

I like the idea, but I don't like the interest rate. An MMO needs a flourishing market to promote a healthy playstyle, and when you implement something along the lines of, "The more you have, the more you get." people will star hoarding their money. Instead of spending 20k on that ghastly that you might one day train up, you would decide to hold on to the money for that extra interest. Another thing to think about is that people will most likely have a majority of their money in the bank, and when it comes to a point where they see something that they want to purchase (from another player) they will have to travel all the way to the bank, collect the money, then return to the person selling which wastes the sellers time. I do agree though, something should be implemented to deal with money.
  11. In between EV training my tentacool I decided to write up a stat calculator since all the online ones (that i've seen) are clunky or ugly, and they don't live update on every input. I wrote it for my own personal use but i figured it could potentially help some others who are catching hundreds of the same pokemon to get to specific stat points. PRO Stat Calculator And for those who care, heres the visual studio file. PRO Stat Calculator VS Solution
  12. Well, I do have coding experience, and this would be one of their more simple fixes on their to-do list. I mean like, less than 200 lines easy. Obviously depending on their current structure. Dynamic development isn't hard... Random dynamic development is... Apparently this is being planned after hoenn, so we just need to wait it out.
  13. The grind is lengthy yes, but its really not that bad. If you look at one of my previous topics: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=20099 you will see that my total grind was less than 12 hours (1.5 hours per gym was my goal and I made it even though I flopped on misty.) If you think anything below 90 is bad, wait until 97-100. I mean like... You need X exp from 5-97, total... Then you need 50X to get from 97-100
  14. This is the first full week I've played PRO and i'm just getting to the point where trainers are rolling over and re battling me. While I like the fact that trainers rebattle you, its incredibly annoying that they use their original pokemon and they didn't even get any stronger. I'm running around with a team of 90+ and random birdkeeper jimmy is like, "HEY GUY, THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN BEAT ME!" Suggestions: 1) Make the trainers optional to rebattle. After the weekly reset, if you talk to them they will battle you. 2) Scale their team up to make it a challenge. Perhaps something along the lines of averaging the level of your team and scaling them to that level. 3) Combination of both?

    question

As the others have said, there are places around where you can buy clothes, but I would really recommend dropping $10 on PRO. You support the developers that do a great job and you can start yourself off with a hat/costume/mount/membership. Its very very much worth it!
