I think it actually crashed, has been down for 35 minutes, if it was under maintenance it would say Online: (Maintenance) Might take a while for them to notice if they aren't watching it..

Be nice if they actually made an announcement when they were going to do this on the forums <.<, unless I missed it.. Or maybe gave us a clue what they are doing.. I am assuming Hoenn, and probably the new server since someone said it wouldn't make sense to launch Blue and then add in hoenn XD

I second this motion.. You are assuming players want to be told where it is off the bat instead of having a chance to look for the book first. I certainly don't, I had never done the little side quest before and found it somewhat refreshing to be given something to do other than grind levels until I was strong enough to beat Misty :Crazy: Secondly, if we had all our answers at a moment's notice what would Einstein do with his life? Lol.

thats totally not how it works. when you evolve a pokemon it will get its stats accordingly, no matter at what level. if you evolve your pokemon lvl 99 or level 10 makes no difference, it will have the same stats at level 100. Really? So if my bulbasaur is lvl 98, since bulbasaur's max speed stat with a neutral nature is 189, and Venusaur's max speed with a neutral nature is 259, in those two levels with maxed EVs I will get +70 speed all at once?

Any sources online will only tell you about the general rules and numbers for the cartridge games, this isn't always the case for PRO although it is very similar.. One thing I will tell you though, that the stat caps for evolved pokemon are much higher, and if you wait until literally the last couple levels (ie, 98/99) you will end up with a weaker pokemon out of laziness than if you evolved at maybe 80-85 because they won't have time to catch up with the stat caps. I have heard people talk about this and go 'oh, yeah, but they will level faster'. Sure they will, but if you really want strong pokemon, spend the extra time to level a fully evolved pokemon a good 20 levels or so so it can catch up with its stat cap :)

Believe me, I have found out lol. Got through brock without much difficulty (I started with squirtle XD).. got to Misty and well... I had to run back and get a pikachu and budew and train those over 20 before I beat her lol, Surge was easy with a 29 Graveler, and I managed to beat the first Rocket hideout... Now I face the grass gym with um... nothing that can beat them, so I have to go find other pokemon lol. Definitely loving the challenge :Angry:

Hey I'm Algalon, I am 25 and have played pokemon since red/blue came out on GB (not even color). I have an extensive knowledge of pokemon, having played every generation at least a few times through. So far I only have three badges, having started only a couple days ago, but soon I will have high-level pokemon and be trading and talking a lot more. I don't really want to start over on Blue server when it comes up, so hopefully we will have the newer people still stuck in pewter all go to blue :Crazy:
