We are in the process of actually redoing how ranked PvP gets rewarded.
Players wont recieve item prizes like they have done previous. we will be introducing a whole new currency - PvP Coins. Which will be able to be spent on exclusive prizes like the PvP clothes, battle oriented items, maybe even exclusive mounts.
The coins will be distributed in quantities according to where u place in the ladder.
everyone who participates in at least 1 ranked match (as long as they are in positive points) will receive coins. it will just depend how high u are as to how many coins u will receive at the end of a season.

Thats not the issue right now. They will PROBABLY use challonge.
The main issue is fixing the bugs that negatively affect the battle system.

Once the tournament is over, some players (including myself) would probably dont mind sharing their battles so you might get to see them afterwards, as players would not want their teams revealed at the moment.

Good stats doesnt matter if the nature doesn't match the pokemon.
Acerage PVP-ready stats would be everything above 20 + (except one that the Pokemon does not need.
For example, you can have an Adamant (+atk, -spatk) Machamp, with everything 20+ except the SPATK, because Machamp is more of a physical attacker rather than special attacker.

101344 I'm looking for an English-speaking, laid back, fun, sarcastic and active guild. A group of people who play the game for fun but also take tournaments or PvP or whatever else semi-seriously.
I'd like the guild to have working and active forums (Discord doesn't count but if you have both that's just better)
I'm quite active both IG and on the forums, have over 200 hours playtime IG and a pretty good Kanto team. I spent all 200 hours farming, leveling and EV training because I wanted to get a PvP team before even attempting the Elite 4, because that's one of my weird things I wanted to do before actually finishing the game, it's just more fun for me this way.
Anyway, if your guild meets my requirements and if you want me in the guild, leave a message here or PM me IG. I've been kind of looking for guilds and been in a few but they were either a disappointment or just didn't have what I wanted. Hope I get offers I can't reject now. x)

There should be an "Item Clause" too.
Be more specific when you're giving a suggestion. (e.g. such as what items)
However, I believe that there should not be an item clause due to the lack of items working at the moment.

Anyways, I am under the impression that the tournament is postponed due to the fact that the majority of the participants use Machamp, which is why, instead of having them change their pokemons, you decided to wait till some abilities/moves are fixed. How about this:
Since No Guard is bugged only when the move earthquake is used, how about ban earthquake + no guard instead? Therefore, people would still be allowed to use No guard Machamps, just without using earthquake.

However, if you plan on starting the tournament after some moves/abilities are fixed, wouldn't that cause [glow=red]almost every participants[/glow] to modify their teams and re-send them to you and Chappy for verification? (which I think, would further delay the event and plus, would basically be repeating the "send your imgur album" step. I mean hey, if magic guard gets fixed, I'm sure 80% of the participants would want to use Clefables in the tournament..)

Well, here's the thing.
Machamp with No Guard is OKAY to use.
Just don't have the move Earthquake on it.
Then, everything should be okay.
