I caught the pokemon. It was in the bug catching contest. I paralyzed it with thunder wave, then tricked it the life orb. I then started chucking pokeballs at it and when I realized that seismic toss didn't trigger life orb damage I went to trick it back and nothing happened. I then caught the pinsir which won me the bug catching contest and it had no item. I released it because it was trash. Its ID was 33961052.

I out leveled the pinsir by a lot and could not attack it without killing it, so I tricked it my life orb so it could hurt itself. It was only using seismic toss which doesn't trigger the life orb so I had to catch it at full health. When I went to trick back my life orb it didn't have it, it was just gone.

Right now you still need a pokemon to use rock smash on the crystals, even if you already have the pickaxe.

I feel like they would be a lot cooler with particles and it would bring them up to the flare of the other legendary mounts.
