  1. Sorry that happened, hopefully a mod is already taking care of it. Actually harassing someone and making threats is unacceptable and if they are temp banned, hopefully they learned their lesson or if they're permanently banned then at least we won't see that same behavior from the same user.
  2. Have you played PRO at all yet or is this your first time?
  3. Some e-mail providers are untrustworthy and so sometimes they get blacklisted. Most viable solution is gmail, most people got their e-mails right-after registrating using gmail. I agree, also @OP maybe try looking through the other folders that gmail already has to filter your mail. Like personal, social, etc. I remember having this problem and I think I checked social for the email and found it. If not then there was either an error on the receiver (gmail) or the sender (PRO), but I doubt it was PRO because a lot of problems usually end on the receiver (gmail)
  4. That ghastly is a god. . I wouldn't even sell it, the chances alone for a shiny are difficult, but to also consider that it has a great nature and decent IV's are too much :D: Yeah.. tbh i'm not even planning to sell it  P.S. Finished training it's EV's (still gets 1 shoted by Sabrina xD ) Yeah, Ghastly/Haunter/Gengar aren't meant to take hits, they're meant to one shot everything, but it depends on their speed, especially against an alakazam because I think their speed values are very similar. I think Gengar can learn a move priority skill, but I'm not sure, I haven't done anything competitive in a while.
  5. It's good to have a habit of catching every pokemon you come across! It costs a lot of money though haha.

  7. I think he was referring to that friend park or whatever it was called, where you can catch the pokemon from another game that was inputted. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I mean, it's still a similar concept, but completely different. I don't like this idea, but maybe a wonder trade would be cool. If anyone has played pixelmon servers before then they'll know how that works. It would be an interesting idea to be able to wondertrade once every hour or so (so it's not abused), but maybe something along these lines SHOULD be pursued because it would be a nice feature that makes PRO stand out compared to other pokemon mmo's.
  8. Kind of. There is a lot of luck involved so sometimes it can be a dozen or 2 dozen times.
  9. 1. Luck is too big of a factor in this game and I think everyone can agree that luck shouldn't be this big of a factor 2. I hope they are working on trainers and hopefully they'll add custom places to regions for that 3. I understand the whole MMO thing, but they should probably up the spawn rates by enough to cancel out the HUGE luck factor Luck is what makes it fair, and gives reliance to the trade economy Like I mentioned, luck is too big of a factor for what it does. My only access to getting a good IV pokemon shouldn't be between Option 1: Looking for something for hours, possibly even days Option 2: Paying an outrageous amount of money for a good iv pokemon If I were to suggest this I would say, "I'm looking for a more realistic level of play, I understand grinding is a part of MMO's and this game, but the grind should not be that difficult." I'm a huge avid gamer of mmo's and I've never seen something this difficult on such a grand scale.
  10. 1. Luck: I was looking for a dratini and I took 5 days. Another day I wasn't looking for it and I find a really good one. 2. They are working on trainers to change this thing. 3. MMO logic. You can't implement breeding to have full 31 ivs, that would ruin the economy and make the "pokemon catching" absolutely useless 'cause you would be able to create it. 1. Luck is too big of a factor in this game and I think everyone can agree that luck shouldn't be this big of a factor 2. I hope they are working on trainers and hopefully they'll add custom places to regions for that 3. 11. This game has stability issues because it is beta and at the moment it doesn't really have sufficient specs for the amount of players it receives. DISCLAIMER: This is based on what I've seen constantly in my first week here and I'm not associated with PRO at all, just a player offering his 2 cents to another. If you're no the red server, personally I would recommend you switch to blue because there are less players and it seems to have more uptime, however today it has had a weird issue that is unknown to a lot of people. I hope you get a chance to play! I wanted to beat Blaine today, but unfortunately I can't until blue is back up. I'm on blue and I have been for a month this is a constant issue the server is down for at least 2 hours every night and this is the only time I have the opportunity to play this NEEDS to be addressed or I need to be refunded for my membership Edit: Was a little inebriated when I made this complaint I actually understand why it's just bad luck when the server ends up down this long because there's so few admins with the ability to reset the server I think it would be cool if the staff updated the status of how things are going every 2 weeks, but I don't think you'll ever be refunded your money. I mean $5 isn't a big deal and it isn't a re-occurring fee from what I can tell (is it?), but I'm sure that they mentioned that they don't do refunds. It's just one of those situations where it can be difficult if you're a customer/player because we get the short end of the stick, but this game has potential.

  14. So the low amount of staff is due to not enough "qualified and quality" players applying for positions through the workshop. It can be frustrating at times when there is no one on. But, remember the servers can only be rebooted by a dev / admin and these admin's have their lives as well to maintain. Shane has children so he juggles PRO and his fatherly duties. I can't speak about the other admins who have access to rebooting the servers but they may be in similar situations. As for Mods / GM's as more players go through the workshop and are accepted as staff after doing the apprentice stages will we see more active staff during all hours of the day. Until that day we will have to tough it out and be patient. Yeah, that's why this situation sucks, but I have hope that things will get better with time. I think the quality of the game is great; but the quantity and sometimes, from what I have seen, the quality of the current staff can be lacking. I want to become more active on the forums because I think it will give me a good idea of the up and coming staff are. I'm not a fan of wasting my time on games like these because sometimes it can just all disappear (Cubeworld was one of my most heart breaking moments). Not that this will happen with PRO, but I have a lot of faith on the newer staff and it should be a bit easier to manage once the newer staff start climbing.
  15. I'm expecting a "we have lives answer" which is understandable, but I wish it was more professional in terms of business. I know a lot of people have supported this game with time and money, but I'm not sure how appreciative they are of that. I've only been here for a week and this is the kind of stuff I value, usually more than most. I'm not saying it is a bad thing and I don't mean disrespect. It's my honest opinion and I hope there will be improvements because there is always room for improvement.
