  1. Can't move when I enter new area sunless i alt+tab

I have Windows 10 and was experiencing crashes, so I tried Shane's fix and created a shortcut that runs the game with directx9. Now, the game doesn't crash, but whenever i walk through a door or enter a new area, i can't move. The only way to fix this is by alt+tabbing, which gets extremely annoying, especially on the S.S. Anne. What have you already tried to solve the problem? I haven't tried anything yet, as i don;t even know where to start. Description and Message My PRO username is actually Ashmaster02, but that wouldn't fit. Don't really have anything else to add besides what I've said above.
