I was going to go catch snorlax yesterday and when I was about to throw my pokeball, my connection went out. I came back into the game after sitting through waiting list and noticed that he was gone. Description and Message I have also seen this happen with trainer npcs. They will just respond with that I beat them. I don't know if you could actually abuse this in some way.
