    UPDATE: I got it back but I lost my Onyx which had dig which is also crucial

    At first I lost my starter Wartortle but I lost it and lost do do as a result. Then I lost my Ponyta which was one of my best pokemon. I just started the game yesterday. He was level 20 and I don't feel like grinding 14 levels. He still shows up in my pokedex that I have him but no where in my inventory. Can someone help me get him back? It seems I have to trade pokemons to get them out of this realm where I can't use them anymore.
