I am currently having a tough decision whether I should evolve my pikachu into a raichu. My Pikachu is using a light ball which makes it's atk and sp atk stronger I can evolve to Raichu and use a magnet to make electric type attacks stronger But this begs the question, which one is better? PIkachu with light ball or Raichu with magnet

I do know that the description says it is for Pikachu, but, I want to know if it can be used with Riachu and get the same buffs as well. I have also researched online and it has said that the light ball can work with Raichu I am just making sure if it is the same for this Pokemon game.
