Hey I started playing recently and I read if you chose Pikachu as your starter Pokémon you could have him learn surf and I did pick him as my starter Pokémon but when I try to have him learn surf it just says he can’t learn the move so is this a bug? Or did you guys change it to where he can’t learn it anymore. Any info will help thank you.

Is there a specific reason for this? I only started playing recently and maybe it changed and he can't learn surf even tho he was my starter Pokémon? Any info will help thank you!
