any idea why it only works with my university wifi and not at home? because of multiple devices connected to it or something? No, honestly I have no idea about it. ok i found the problem, my college and home use different ISPs and now it works at home if i use a VPN cause apparently the ISP for my home wifi has blocked communication to the PRO server for some reason. thanks for all our help :D

ok i tried connecting through the college wifi and it connected and worked seamlessly. Is it necessary to have a fast wifi connection for it to connect to the server. my home wifi is running at 20 mbps(does not connect) and my college runs at 50 mbps(connects). could this difference be the cause for not connecting? which client do u use? and which server do u connect to and what time? i redownloaded the exe and data file again and ran it again, still same issue and my net is stable. any other files to delete? registry files..etc?
