I've recently had problems with psychic attacks not scoring super effective on a couple of pokemons it should (source bulbapedia). For example, using confusion and psybeam with Drowzee doesn't score critical hits versus grimer, koffing, weezing or ekans for me. The same applies for a gahstly using psybeam. Weird thing is that others doesn't seem to be having the same problem (if you trust the help chat). Haven't captured anything on screenshots but will try to come back with a few if I can (though I imagine a combat log would be better, is it possible to get one in this game?).
