Apparently it's still the 120 kanto pokemon and they don't need OT like Chappy already mentioned above me. However, you also need to evolve around 38-40 pokes. Still not sure on the number precisely, but that is the area where the island opened back up. I admit, I was butt hurt when I thought it was OT, but the evolution clause is a good addition. That way you at least need to do some work. I do however wish the guy would give a riddle, or something alluding to the evolution thing, because I was running on pure speculation from other players, often sincere, but sincerely wrong. I really should look at the forums more, I didn't know anyone saw this. lol

Hello, The love trader use to let me pay to go to love island after I obtained over 120 kanto pokemon, but after about 5 times he no longer lets me go. He just repeats the same thing he use to say when I didn't have enough pokemon. I am sorry there is nothing specific, or that I could speculate that triggered this, it was totally random to me. He just no longer lets me go. A resolution for this issue will be very appreciated, I love that island and think it's a great addition to the game. Shame it's not working at the moment. Shoutout to all the staff, this game is amazing.

Hello anyone who maybe reading, If you are reading this you may have an idea of who I am talking about. This pokemon has made me waste many hours. So many that I am making this post and that is very unlike me, but I don't know where to turn. This pokemon is Shellder. A very simple pokemon. However, I have spent several hours in both alpha and beta looking for it with ZERO luck. Please, if someone is out there who has caught this myth, let me know, because I am losing hope. All devs and GM's tell me it exists in spades. Which further messes with my mind. Thank you for reading. Sincerely, That guy you always see fishing
