This is just a little help, for those who keep getting stuck in the Viridian Forest Maze, and these pictures were separate, I just put them together to make it easier for beginners. (Click on the image to make it bigger)

But if you think about it, when they faint, they go in the pokeball and not just walk out. Plus when someone faints they dont continue walking... EDIT* nor did I say he died.

So I was playing PRO, and I just realized when your Pokemon on the top faints, it still follows you, which is kinda weird when it's fainted, but I just wanted to point that out. Heres proof of this.
